Clean Your Morkies Eyes Every Day

Puppy owners are advised to wipe their puppy’s eyes at least once or twice per day. This helps remove not only the brown shade of tear stains, but also any bacteria and germs hiding around your dog’s face. It is important to be gentle as the friction could be unpleasent for your dog if you are too rough.

How To Clean Their Eyes:

This step is to simply use a moist washcloth and clean around their eyes gently.

Clean Up The Hair Around Their Eyes

If your Morkie’s dog hair has grown too long and is constantly on its eyes, the result will be irritated tears that can leave stains. If the fur around their eyes are too long it can cause build up and irritation.

How To Fix It:

Carefully trim a small amount of hair away from the eyes of your Morkie by using dog safe scissors. You can speak with your groomer for advice on how to do this safely.

Give Your Morkie Clean Filtered Water

Try switching your Morkie’s water to filtered, a trick groomers say has worth. Use metal or glass bowls over plastic ones which will wear down and leech toxic substances into the water (The glasses will last much longer without toxins).
